Livestock Photography

Spring is officially here and I wanted to celebrate it by taking one of the most iconic images of Spring – Lambs! What better way than to celebrate spring in Shropshire with photographs of lambs taken on a local farm in Shropshire. In fact I would like to say a big thank you to Malcolm Roberts, of Buckley Farm, Oswestry Shropshire for giving me permission to take these photographs of his flock – thanks again Malcolm. Now if you know anyone with pigs?
I must confess I couldn’t see the wood for the trees – there were so many, each with their own personality and boy did they move quick! The only time they stayed still was during feeding time. But it was great fun and experience. By the way if you have a Nikon 70-200mm VR2. DO NOT put the Active switch on, leave it at Normal. It becomes way too sensitive and actually makes the shots even more blurred!
